The Problem with Farming It Out
Most shops outsource their fabrication. They design the part, send it out, and hope it comes back right. Sometimes it does. Sometimes it doesn’t. Either way, they’ve lost control over the one thing that matters most: quality. We’ve taken a different approach. The more we can build under our own roof, the better the end result—and the fewer surprises along the way.
What, We Build In-House
Our shop handles the fabrication that matters most to the integrity of a build: battery enclosures, mounting brackets, wiring harnesses, and custom structural components. These are the parts where fit, finish, and precision directly affect safety and performance. We control the process from CAD to finished piece—no guessing, no waiting, no hoping a vendor got it right.
When We Bring in Specialists
Some processes require equipment we don’t have—yet. Specialized machining, certain coatings, large-format cutting and bending. For those, we work with trusted partners. But we spec the work precisely, and we verify everything when it comes back. We’re also building more capability behind the scenes. The goal: bring more in-house over time, reduce dependencies, and raise the bar on what we can deliver.
Why It Matters for Your Build
Every part we control is one less variable. One less handoff. One less opportunity for something to go wrong. That’s the standard we’re working toward—and getting closer to with every build.
